Gandhinagar State Course

The State Course on ‘Reducing Pneumonia and Diarrheal Disease in India: Evidence and Issues’ was organized by the Child Health Foundation and INCLEN Trust International in collaboration with the Health and Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Gujarat and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health on the 28th and 29th of January, 2013 at Cambay Spa and Golf Resort, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

BVAC Lucknow

The Basic Vaccinology Course (BVAC) was organized by the Child Health Foundation and The INCLEN Trust International in collaboration with Medical Health and Family Welfare Services, Uttar Pradesh on the 5th and 6th of May, 2012 at Diamond Resorts & Club, Mohanlalganj, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The course was funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and supported by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, State Health Society, Bihar and Medical Health and Family Welfare Services, Uttar Pradesh.

The comprehensive course provided training in epidemiology, immunology, disease surveillance, and vaccine safety and regulation, vaccination trends, challenges, and innovations specific to India. The course was attended by 30 state and district immunization program managers and 19 private pediatricians.

The course provided a wonderful opportunity for the participants to interact and learn from esteemed faculty members through a well-designed agenda encompassing various topics on Routine Immunization (RI) over the two-day period

Certificate Course in Immunization Practice (CCIP)

CHF in collaboration with PHFI has launched CCIP to enhance the knowledge, skills and core competencies on immunization to undertake evidence-based quality vaccination for the primary care physicians. This course focused on various available vaccines in India as recommended by GOI and IAP for protection of children, adolescents and adults from vaccine preventable diseases and conditions.

Certificate Course in Immunization Practice for Primary Care Physicians was designed to enhance knowledge, skills and core competencies of primary care physicians from urban and peri-urban areas of India on Immunization to undertake evidence-based quality vaccination. This course was envisioned to improve the immunization coverage in urban areas and strengthen the immunization program in India. It was a joint venture with various partners like UNICEF, Indian Academy of Pediatrics and Child Health Foundation with CSR grant from Sanofi Pasteur.
